VWCC: Downs Natural Science Center

MarshWitt recently designed the 2200 SF Natural Science Center on Virginia Western Community College's South Campus. Located adjacent to both are a 2100 SF greenhouse and a two-acre community arboretum, the Natural Science Center houses a multipurpose meeting room, headhouse, and laboratory spaces.

The Center expands VWCC's community arboretum and horticultural program and functions as a resource for other academic, private, and community programs. The Center also features an outdoor seating and gathering area.
