Hospitals & Medical Office Buildings

This 34,000 square foot hospital facility features space for the Main Hospital entrance, Radiology, laboratory, Cardiac Rehab and Therapy.

The second floor was originally designed for future clinics, but Hughes Associates has since designed an “upfit” for a family practice with 13 exam rooms and an orthopedic clinic for the space. The two tenants share common X-ray facilities.

This 34,580 square foot facility is 2 stories that is expandable to a future third story. The first story currently houses the practices of Physicians to Children, separate well and sick reception rooms and a separate adolescent reception area. There are 33 exam rooms, a lab and procedure rooms.

The second story houses the practice of Physicians to Women. This practice space offers 10 doctor offices, 31 exam rooms, a lab, mammography, ultrasound and procedure rooms.

This three story, 17,200 square foot facility was an exceptionally challenging project.  The site was small for the size of the building and the building had to fit the requirements of the city, relative to being of residential appearance and scale.  The existing parking area was located one full story below the street grade, which required the rear of the building to be the main entrance.  This facility provides space for Internal Medicine, Psychology, Pediatrics, Cardiology and Oncology. 

This project included a One-story library addition and renovations to the existing hospital to provide 4,800
square feet of space.

Hughes Associates provided complete architectural planning and design services leading to detailed construction
documents for client bidding.

This new medical office building is approximately 12,500 square feet and consists of a pharmacy and four other tenant spaces.  Other tenants include physical rehabilitation, doctor’s offices and space for medical supplies.  Each tenant’s space provides on-site services to each resident of the Richfield Retirement Community.

For this project we designed a new birth center featuring five private labor/ delivery/ recovery (LDR) rooms.  Each room has new and comfortable furniture for visiting family members, a private bathroom that includes extended size showers and tubs.  Flat screen tv’s/ dvd players with wireless capabilities are also included. Also provided is a nourishment station for patient use and a multi-purpose room for education and teaching.
